Dear Friends, we’ve come to the end of a very stimulating and varied program of guest speakers for the year. And hopefully next year there will be more of the same!
So now, with Christmas approaching, we are thinking of end-of-year Fun Activities that involve full audience participation in the form of games, puzzles and quizzes etc. providing opportunities for relaxing and socialising with lots of laughter!
We have decided on two end-of-year activities!!
The first one, we have called Ethical Dilemmas which will be a follow-on from Simon Longataff’s talk on ethics and leadership and will have us all in our regular Anzac Room at the Byron Services Club sitting in our table groups discussing problems or situations which are -mostly – ‘ethical’ but which have no clear-cut or satisfying solutions! These problems will however, require much argument, laughter and bad jokes, but hopefully no bloodletting )-:
Hosts for the night will be Christine and Paul Davies and we have booked the room for Thursday the 12th November.
Our second activity will be a return of the very popular and successful Trivia Night devised by Charles and hosted by Peter who has rounded up a good number of trivia questions in the areas of General Knowledge, History, Science – and Philosophy – of course. Fun,Fun!
Bookings for Ethical Delimas can only be made through the Australian independent booking agency TryBooking. You will need to book asap to secure your place as numbers in the Anzac Room are limited to 30 for this event. The ticket price of $12 includes the booking fees.
